In daylight I’m Linesh Sebastian — an engineering leader who likes to build stuff (sometimes useful, sometimes because am bored). I’m not loud online; this site is the quiet version of what I’d say if you sat down across from me.

If something here is useful and you want to talk through it, the form below reaches me. I usually reply within a day.

Most days it’s one window — WezTerm tiled into a few panes, Neovim in one, a shell and lazygit in the others. None of this arrived all at once. My setup has been evolving for years, each piece replaced at its own pace, the whole thing slowly bending to my taste.

how I got here

It started with VS Code. Every helpful extension made the editor a little more crowded, and at some point the customization itself became the noise I was trying to avoid. The smaller my tools got, the more I trusted them.
